Food & Agriculture
Celebrating local PEI agriculture through live cooking demonstrations and food sampling — easy to prepare, affordable and nutritious.
About the Program
Savour the Flavour is a food-focused program at the Crapaud Exhibition that celebrates the farmers and food producers of Prince Edward Island. The initiative aims to create new eating experiences that are easy to prepare, affordable, and nutritious.
Attendees learn about the food producers in the area and the nutritional value of local foods — all while enjoying delicious samples prepared by the Kilted Chef.
Featured Chef
Chef Alain prepares recipes using local PEI products, offering tips and advice on making the most of Island ingredients. On Friday evening he also serves mussels outside the Actiplex during the 5:00 PM Community BBQ.
